Woodland Park Colorado sits at 8465ft in elevation and is known as the “City Above the Clouds” because of it.  This beautiful mountain town sits just 18 miles, about a 30 minute drive, west of Colorado Springs.  

 

The town of Woodland Park is surrounded by the Pike National Forest and offers a host of year round outdoor activities.  Hiking, biking, fishing, snowshoeing, Off-roading, snowmobiling are all right there, and some of the best skiing in Colorado is only an hour and half away. Woodland Park also plays host to events all year round including music festivals, the Friday Farmers Market in the summer, and one of the best Oktoberfest celebrations in the area. 

 

Woodland Park has roughly 8000 residents and has a small town feel but still offers the privacy of the mountains.  Properties in Woodland Park vary from homes in quiet neighborhoods close to schools and town activities, to acreage properties that offer quiet mountain privacy.  All surrounded by mountain and forest views. 

In January 2022 the median list price of a home for sale in Woodland Park was $511,000, just slightly over the Colorado Springs list price in January of $435,000.  And home values rose approximately 8% from January of 2021 to January of 2022.
